Transparency International Pakistan (TI-P) delivered an important training workshop under our Business Integrity Programme, with the team at Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in Islamabad.

The session was built around a simple question we keep hearing from corporate governance and compliance teams: how do we know any of the policies actually reach the workplace?
Over two hours, TI Pakistan’s Executive Director Kashif Ali and Board of Trustees’ Shahana Kaukab walked participants through the disclosure standards behind TRAC, the everyday judgement calls that make or break an integrity culture, and how workplace decisions connect to institutional credibility.

Khaola Sherani, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Human Rights, joined us to anchor the human rights due diligence conversation in the framework of Pakistan’s National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights.
Our thanks to OGDCL for engaging so openly with the material and to the Ministry of Human Rights for the partnership.

The Business Integrity Programme offers workshops, advisory, and specialist clinics for companies looking to move from written policies to practised integrity. If your organisation would like to know more, get in touch at businessintegrity@transparency.org.pk.
