Mobile ALAC: Free Legal Advice Camp, District Buner

Transparency International Pakistan in collaboration with Rural Development Organization (RDO), organized a free legal advice camp in District Buner. It was a first such event in the district which was widely appreciated by the locals. The citizens including few women registered their complaints and highlighted important issues they have been facing. The total number of initial contacts were 43 including 5 women. The complaints were about water issues, lack of facilities in government run schools, upgradation of primary schools to secondary, and against water pollution by marble factories. The lawyer provided free legal advice to the citizens whereas few complaints were referred to TI Pakistan for further processing.
